Pasta e Ceci is the favourite soup of my parents. They really love this type of thick soups. As a teenager hated it, this soup was in my top 5 dishes that didn't make me happy. It's not that I didn't like the taste, but for me, the concept of thick soups was not comforting. Until now, pasta e Ceci is one of my top 5 comfort dishes. Pasta cu pisìedde is a recipe that my Nonna used to make. It's not pasta but more a soup with peas, tomatoes and big chunks of minced meat. Nobody knows where she got this from, but it's a favourite in our family. It's a comforting savoury soup, the kind that makes happy when entering the house.
